Missional Living
Everything in our lives should be dedicated to God in worship, including our day-to-day activities. We need to be intentionally living out the gospel and the great commission of Jesus Christ, either in our work place, our neighbourhood, or our homes. Some practical examples include (but are not limited to!) the following:
- eating with non-Christians
- serving our neighbours
- sharing a hobby with non-Christians
- participating in community events
- volunteering with non-profits
- engaging in meaningful conversations with co-workers
Holiday Club
Each summer we put on a themed holiday club for the boys and girls of our community. There is singing, games, art, drama, and a gospel message. Parents are also invited to come along and enjoy a cuppa and a chat in our café. At the end of the week, we invite the parents and families to join their kids for an informal BBQ.

Christianity Explored
Christianity Explored is a course for people of all ages who’d like to either investigate Christianity for the first time or brush up on the basics. It explores who Jesus was, what his aims were, and what it means to follow him. There’s no praying, singing or clapping, and you won’t be asked to read aloud. If you want to, you can come along and simply listen.
We have already held several Christianity Explored courses in Nairn. A simple meal is provided at the start of the evening. After the meal, people remain at their table of 8-10 people and the conversation turns to the course material from the week before. There then follows a DVD presentation on the theme for that week and time for more questions.
Contact Mud if you’d like more information on upcoming courses. You can also visit the Christianity Explored website here.
Blythswood Care
Blythswood’s motto is “Christian care for body and soul”. They are a registered charity organisation, whose main purpose is to “[combine] the Christian message with practical help for those in need”. They serve in a number of ways, locally and internationally, through the Highland Foodbank, child sponsorship, the Shoebox Appeal, and others.
